MTC announces restrictions on NGO/INGO
The Maraland Territorial Council (MTC) issued statement 01/2024 on October 21 that local and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs/INGOs) must provide more information to the Department of Home Affairs and Local Administration for the convenience of the implementation and security of the project due to the presence of unwanted illegal organizations and the transportation of illegal drugs.
It also warned that the reporting must be done by November 15th, and it was needed to provide the information of the project officer, type of project, duration of the project, budget for the project, and the donor in the report, and the organizations that were not reporting would not be allowed to travel and implement.
In addition, the people of Mara also must request permission from the Department of Home Affairs and the local administration through the relevant circuit and village administration if they are going to hold events with the crowds or to hold religious, social, and educational events, and they could only hold it after receiving the permission. It has also warned that action will be taken if it is done without permission.

Mandalay Region Interim Political Arrangement
The "Mandalay Region Interim Political Arrangement" (draft) has been written with 12 chapters and will soon be adopted. NUG Deputy Minister of Human Rights Granted Leave from Duties
The NUG announced on March 7 that Khun Bedu Htan, one of the deputy ministers of the National Unity Government (NUG) Ministry of Human Rights, had been granted leave from his duties.
PSLF Declares Meeting in Kunming Unsuccessful Despite Three Discussion Points
On February 19, the Palaung State Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) announced that although three points, including a ceasefire, were requested and discussed during the meeting where both sides’ troops met, the discussions were difficult. As a result, it was concluded that the meeting would only end with an agreement to meet again under the leadership of Mr. Deng Xijun, the special envoy of the Chinese government.
Chinland Council Prioritizes Local Government Strengthening Principle
On February 2, the Chinland Council issued a statement declaring that the strengthening of regional governments, starting from the Chinland Government, will align with the federal union model, and the Chinland Government will work together to build a federal union in accordance with the guidelines of the national government.
