An open letter and opinions on the murder of All Burma Federation of Student Unions (ABFSU) Comrade of Wetlet Township
Regarding the murder of a 16-year-old comrade of the All Burma Federation of Student Unions (ABFSU) in Saingnainggyi villagxe, Wetlet Township, Sagaing Division on July 8, the revolutionary forces have issued an open letter and statements of opinion to seek justice and punish the perpetrators accordingly.
On July 10th, the Central Executive Committee of the All Burma Federation of Student Unions (ABFSU) stated that Comrade Myint Myat Oo was beheaded on the way back from using the internet at the cemetery outside the village, and that he was not a person who had any enmity with anyone in the village, they had contacted the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration and the secretaries of the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG) to resolve the matte but there was no response, so ABFSU issued a final request for the officials to meet with the organization as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
On July 11, the Anti-junta Forces Coordination Committee - Mandalay issued a statement with statement No. (4/2024) stated that AFCC-Mandalay also strongly condemned the individuals who committed this crimes, and demended NUG, including authorities in the Wetlet areas, to seek justice and punish perpetrators. It also urged all the revolutionary forces including the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) and Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) to find an effective and comprehensive solution to improve law enforcement activities for the social security of individual civilians.

The draft has been officially released so that revolutionary political forces across the country, including Mandalay revolutionary forces and the public, can review it and send suggestions, and it is being further revised based on the suggestions received. Chapters 1 to 3 of the draft cover objectives, values and basic principles, and Chapter 4 covers fundamental rights, entitlements and duties. Chapters 5 to 10 cover the structure of the Mandalay region and its legislative, executive and judicial branches, Chapter 11 covers amendment of the arrangement, and Chapter 12 contains general provisions.
Introducing the Arrangement for Transitional Constitution (AFTA)
As the Spring Revolution has championed "ending military dictatorship and building a federal democratic union", discussions on the constitution have been taking place since February 2021. Revolutionary forces have rejected and opposed the 2008 Constitution, controversially adopted under military dictatorship, and revolutionary organizations have declared it void. During the revolution, Parts 1 and 2 of the Federal Democracy Charter have been issued and used as a constitutional framework.
