The National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) stated on December 14 that it condemned the Russian government’s deployment of armed forces to Myanmar to assist in the Sham election by the military junta and to protect Russian citizens and the Sham election.
The People’s Assembly is led by the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) under the Federal Democratic Charter, a constitutional document in the revolutionary period. The People's Assembly has been held twice during the revolution, and the first People's Assembly was held from January 27th to 29th 2022, and the second People's Assembly will be held for 5 days from April 4th to 9th, 2024. According to the agreement, the conference is to be held once every (6) months, but it was only after more than (2) years that the second People's Assembly was held. The Second People's People confirmed again that the conference will be held once every six months, so the Third People's Conference will likely be held soon.
The terrorist military junta issued a statement on September 26 offering the Ethnic Resistance Organizations (EROs) and the People's Defense Forces (PDFs) to solve political problems politically. This is the second such offer since the terrorist coup d'état on February 1, 2021, and the first being made in April 2022 by the leader of the terrorist junta, himself on television. The difference is that the offer was made this time when military camps and military headquarters of the military regime including the cities were being surrendered because of the operations of EROs and PDF.
The National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) and the National Unity Government (NUG) jointly issued a joint statement on October 1 that the terrorist military junta’s “Invitation to political problem solving through political means" was an attempt to divide the Ethnic Resistance Organizations (EROs) and People’s Defense Forces (PDF) and to gain a positive international image. It was just a mere pretense, so they categorically rejected it.
NUCC explained that although efforts were made to hold the meeting in July or August prior to the Third People’s Assembly, they were unable to proceed due to other political processes, urgent response planning, and preparations for reaching a comprehensive political agreement. NUCC acknowledged the significance of public engagement and conveyed its sincere apologies to the public for this postponement.
The National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) on August 31 strongly condemned China's Shweli National Security Committee for sending a threatening letter to an immediate end to the ongoing fighting of the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) as a brutal threat to the TNLA and the revolution of the Burmese people.

Regarding the murder of a 16-year-old comrade of the All Burma Federation of Student Unions (ABFSU) in Saingnainggyi villagxe, Wetlet Township, Sagaing Division on July 8, the revolutionary forces have issued an open letter and statements of opinion to seek justice and punish the perpetrators accordingly.
The National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) stated on March 28 that the second People's Assembly was scheduled to be held in March, however, it will be changed from April 4 to 6 to ensure adequate time for preparations.
The announcement about People's Military Service Law was issued that the People's Military Service Law, enacted by Senior General Than Shwe, the Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council through Order No. 27/2010 on 4th November 2010, will come into forces on 10th February 2024, and it was issued with the signature of the Chairman of State Administration Council through Order No.27/2024.
