Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw

Amidst the aftermath of the military coup on February 1, 2021, the first emergency meeting of the Third Term of Hluttaw convened via video conference on February 5, 2021. Comprising 298 representatives, the meeting led to the formation of the "Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH)" consisting of 15 Hluttaw members tasked with continuing the legislative functions of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw.

The committee expanded its ranks on February 10 by adding two members from ethnic parties, totaling 17 members. As of April 26, 2021, the committee underwent further expansion, now including three members. The chairman of the committee, U Aung Kyi Nyunt, was elected alongside three secretaries and 16 committee members.

CRPH unveiled its four key political objectives on March 5, 2021:

• Eradicating military dictatorship
• Ensuring the unconditional release of unlawfully detained political leaders, including President U Win Myint and State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi
• Ensuring complete democracy
• Abolishing the 2008 constitution and drafting a new constitution grounded in federalism

The formation of CRPH was decided during the first meeting of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw on February 5, 2021. Subsequent sessions took place on June 30, 2021 (second session), February 5, 2022 (third session), April 18, 2022 (fourth session), and January 31 to February 2, 2023 (fifth session).

CRPH designated the State Administrative Council (SAC) as a terrorist group on March 1, 2021. On March 31, 2021, the 2008 constitution was officially declared abolished by CRPH.

The CRPH is the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) against an illegal coup and citizens and citizens protesting peacefully In the CRPH, the Legal Committee, the House of Representatives Audit Committee, and the Financial Committee. The Committee on Public Affairs, the Federal Affairs Committee, the Security and Defense Committee, the International Relations Committee, the Information and Information Committee, the National Union Advisory Committee (NUCC), the Education Committee, It is composed of the Working Committee and the Women, Youth and Children's Affairs Committee, and it also continuously publishes procedures related to these committees.

CRPH maintains its membership in the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC).
