The Karenni State Interim Executive Council was an example, and the administrative structures of the Ta’ang region are also beginning to be seen. Some changes have begun in Kachin and Kawthoolei, where the traditional administrative structures have been in place. The examples of how public participation has shaped Kawthoolei’s administration, and the public debate has developed.
The Regional Military Command - Ayeyarwady of the People's Defense Force under the authority of the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG) issued a statement No. (1/2024) December 12 stated that it had formulated column, battalion, and strategies step by step and would make a formal declaration on defense.

The Federal Wings Drone Force announced on December 3 that as of October 6, 2024, collaboration with the Ministry of Communications, Information and Technology (MOCIT) under the National Unity Government (NUG) has been mutually suspended.
The NUG-K2C issued a joint statement on November 30 that it would accelerate all efforts of cooperation in applying for an arrest warrant at the International Criminal Court (ICC) against the terrorist military leader, General Min Aung Hlaing for crimes against the Rohingya.

The Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG) stated on November 14 that in October 2024, a member of the People's Defense Forces (PDF) and six members of the People’s Defense Teams were prosecuted and punished, while the subordinate forces were subjected to necessary controls to become a force that serves the people.
The People’s Assembly is led by the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) under the Federal Democratic Charter, a constitutional document in the revolutionary period. The People's Assembly has been held twice during the revolution, and the first People's Assembly was held from January 27th to 29th 2022, and the second People's Assembly will be held for 5 days from April 4th to 9th, 2024. According to the agreement, the conference is to be held once every (6) months, but it was only after more than (2) years that the second People's Assembly was held. The Second People's People confirmed again that the conference will be held once every six months, so the Third People's Conference will likely be held soon.
The National Unity Government (NUG) announced on October 22 that the brutal killings of innocent civilians, the burning down of houses, and the abductions as human shields, committed by the terrorist military regime on October 11 to 20 in Budalin Township, Sagaing Region were an army tactic that had been used for years to exact revenge on the armed resistance forces of various ethnic groups.
The terrorist military junta issued a statement on September 26 offering the Ethnic Resistance Organizations (EROs) and the People's Defense Forces (PDFs) to solve political problems politically. This is the second such offer since the terrorist coup d'état on February 1, 2021, and the first being made in April 2022 by the leader of the terrorist junta, himself on television. The difference is that the offer was made this time when military camps and military headquarters of the military regime including the cities were being surrendered because of the operations of EROs and PDF.
The National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) and the National Unity Government (NUG) jointly issued a joint statement on October 1 that the terrorist military junta’s “Invitation to political problem solving through political means" was an attempt to divide the Ethnic Resistance Organizations (EROs) and People’s Defense Forces (PDF) and to gain a positive international image. It was just a mere pretense, so they categorically rejected it.

There had been criticism that the flood was caused by a terrorist military junta breaking the dams under their control without informing the public and the lack of weather reporting.
The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) (Kokang) has announced through its Military Committee on September 4th, under the title "Statement on the Current National Situation" that it will not completely change its political stance of striving for genuine autonomy. They have clarified that they will not engage in secession from the country, seizing state power, or declaring independence to establish a new state.
On September 12, the All Burma Students' Democratic Front (ABSDF) and the National Unity Government (NUG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at joint struggle and cooperation based on mutual understanding and recognition of each other's political dignity.
The National Unity Government (NUG) issued a statement on September 3 urging strong resistance and opposition through various means against the terrorist military group's efforts to use the entire country and its people as human shields. This includes their enactment of compulsory conscription law, formation of a central supervisory committee for public security and counter-terrorism, and forcibly recruiting elderly people up to 65 years old as soldiers.
On August 19, a statement was issued by the in charge of the force stating that some of the revolutionary comrades in the Khayan, Thongwa, Kyauktan, and Dagon Seikkan townships had been mobilized and formed the Yangon Region's PDF Combat Force Unit (1), which was organized by some townships in the southern district of Yangon Region.
During a meeting with the leaders of Myanmar's political forces and ethnic forces, the US government urged them to build cohesion among pro-democracy actors and encourage the transition to a civilian government that respects the will of the people.
On August 14, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of the National Unity Government (NUG) stated that the offensive to Tagaung City, in the Thabeikkyin Township, Pyin Oo Lwin District, Mandalay Region, led by No. (1) Military Divisional Command, Mandalay, began on the morning of August 11 and captured it by the night of August 12.
The Northeastern Regional Military Command was separated from the Eastern Regional Military Command established in Taunggyi in 1961 to more effectively handle the activities of the Communist Party of Burma in the country on July 27, 1972, and was established based in Lashio. In 1949, the Karen National Defence Organisation (KNDO) attacked and occupied the Northern Regional Military Headquarters based in Pyin Oo Lwin @ Mammy, and the "Northeastern Regional Military Command" has been recorded as the first regional military command to surrender for a terrorist military junta in 75 years.

Local civil society organizations and revolutionary forces stated on July 27 that they strongly condemned that after the arrest of U San Lwin of Kyun Dat village, Gangaw Township, Magwe on suspicion of drug use by the Township People’s Security Team - PST (Pa La Pha) in the morning of July 17, and the family was forced to come and retrieve the body in the evening, the beating to death and the attempts to appease the family members.
On July 25, the People's Defense Force - Mandalay (MDY-PDF) announced that Mogok township, Mandalay Region was completely seized by the joint forces of Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and the People's Defense Force - Mandalay (MDY-PDF) on July 24.
The People's Defense Army - Mandalay (MDY-PDF) announced on July 20 that it had occupied and taken complete control of all the terrorist military camps of Singu Township, Mandalay region, and township on July 17.
On July 15, the Military Command of the People's Defense Force - Mandalay issued 28 rules and guidelines, divided into three sections, that all troops must follow during the offensive against the terrorist group.
Mandalay Region Parliamentary Representative Committee (CRMH) and Mandalay area revolutionary forces announced on July 12, the process of preparing and developing an Interim Political Arrangement that should be appropriate for the current revolutionary period (interim period) in the Mandalay area.
According to the annual report of the Sagaing Forum organizing group - "Sagaing Forum Humanitarian Assistance Network" on July 11 stated that due to the terrorist military group's policy of targeting the people as the enemy, during the three years of the Spring Revolution, approximately 22.4 percent of Sagaing's population has been living as IDPs, and more than 53,000 homes have been burned.
Regarding the murder of a 16-year-old comrade of the All Burma Federation of Student Unions (ABFSU) in Saingnainggyi villagxe, Wetlet Township, Sagaing Division on July 8, the revolutionary forces have issued an open letter and statements of opinion to seek justice and punish the perpetrators accordingly.
On July 8, the Ministry of Planning, Finance, and Investment published a “Two-year Annual Report” to mark the anniversary of the launch of NUGPay, which is the National Unity Government's (NUG) financial circulation mechanism for ending dependence on the financial system under the control of the terrorist military group and for the security challenges faced by the people.
Regarding the case of the Gambia's lawsuit against Myanmar for genocide, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) announced on July 3 that it allowed Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Maldive to participate.
Since November 13, 2023, repeated clashes between the Arakan Army (AA) and the terrorist military junta have occurred in Rakhine State. During the battles, AA had occupied up to ten townships including Buthidaung, Pauktaw, Minbya, Mrauk U, Kyauktaw, Ponnagyun, Rathedaung, Myebon, Ramree, and even Paletwa township in Chin State, and the fightings also continued in the rest of the townships in the state.
On March 22, Acting President Duwa Lashi La signed and released the military code of conduct for all People's Defence Forces under the National Unity Government-NUG, stating that those who do not comply will be dealt with effectively according to existing laws.
The announcement about People's Military Service Law was issued that the People's Military Service Law, enacted by Senior General Than Shwe, the Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council through Order No. 27/2010 on 4th November 2010, will come into forces on 10th February 2024, and it was issued with the signature of the Chairman of State Administration Council through Order No.27/2024.
