The Three-Point Haigeng Agreement of the Three Northern Alliance Members

MNTJPPSLFULA/AA

The three Northern Alliance members announced that, through Chinese mediation, they had agreed to a ceasefire with the terrorist military council's National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) on three points: an immediate ceasefire by both sides from the night of January 11, 2024; no firing or contact between the forces; and resolving any disputes or clashes through dialogue.

‍
Following the third round of talks between the two sides, held on January 10–11 in Kunming, China, the Haigeng Agreement provides that the Northern Alliance will not launch offensives against military council camps and strategic hills in northern Shan, and that the military council will not carry out air strikes or artillery attacks on places controlled or captured by the three Northern Alliance members. They also agreed not to harm or damage the security of Chinese citizens along the China–Myanmar border or Chinese investments inside Myanmar.
