PSLF

On May 31, the General Administration Department (Headquarters) of the Palaung State Liberation Front (PSLF/TNLA) announced that, for the long-term benefit and protection of the people of Ta'ang State, it does not recognize mining and other private businesses in the state operating under permits, licences or orders issued by previous governments, and that businesses wishing to continue must apply before November 30.

The statement, issued in the name of Brigadier General Tar Gu Zar, head of the General Administration Department, instructed that such businesses be temporarily suspended for now, and said that businesses that do not obtain permission within the set period, along with related buildings and equipment, will be confiscated as property of the Ta'ang people and their owners punished under the law.
