MNDAA stated that the Local Residency Verification System
Regarding the local verification system with legal residence in the region, the Myanmar Special Region (1) Administrative Committee (Kokang) (MNDAA) stated on June 22, regarding the methods of determining the natives, permanent residents and political refugees.
It is stated that a resident for 20 years or more was native, a person who had lived for 14 years or more was confirmed as a permanent citizen, and a person who owned more than 500,000 Chinese Yuan in the region, scholars and experts from various fields participating in local construction projects with their consent, outsiders who had completed three years or more as military or administrative staff in MNDAA, Businessmen and family members who had invested 500,000 Yuan or more in the region and had lived continuously for eight years or more, and a person who was recognized as "political refugee" from the Special Region (1) were confirmed as permanent citizen.
The statement also stated it was working on household inventory management, immigration, temporary residence of people arriving from outside within the special region, and traveling, and also stated that it is completely opposed to discrimination of ethnic groups, and discrimination and oppression of other ethnic groups.

Mandalay Region Interim Political Arrangement

NUG Deputy Minister of Human Rights Granted Leave from Duties
The NUG announced on March 7 that Khun Bedu Htan, one of the deputy ministers of the National Unity Government (NUG) Ministry of Human Rights, had been granted leave from his duties.
PSLF Declares Meeting in Kunming Unsuccessful Despite Three Discussion Points
On February 19, the Palaung State Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) announced that although three points, including a ceasefire, were requested and discussed during the meeting where both sides’ troops met, the discussions were difficult. As a result, it was concluded that the meeting would only end with an agreement to meet again under the leadership of Mr. Deng Xijun, the special envoy of the Chinese government.
CDF (Mindat) Announces Regulations on Town Residency
On February 9, the Chin Defense Force – Mindat (CDF-Mindat) issued regulations for civilians returning to reside within Mindat town and for cargo vehicles passing through the town. The regulations include 12 points for civilians and 9 points for vehicles.
