PLSF announced that it would establish the government based on the will of the people in 2025
The Palaung State Liberation Front (PSLF) annual meeting statement 2/2024 stated that efforts will be made in the new year 20245 to establish a public administration government based on the will of the people in the areas where the front is based, including the seven cities captured during the 1027 operation.
The statement was issued after the annual meeting of the PSLF which was held from February 17 to 21 with 185 participants from central and auxiliary committee member, commanders, heads of the department, officials, and the civilians who were invited. In the statement, the PSLF would lead and manage to further improve territory security, rule of law, education, health and social life development issues in the PSLF controlled areas. In addition, it also stated that it would protect to stop interference of other ethnic organizations in the Taang area that were forcefully recruit soldiers, tax collection and public management activities.

The "Mandalay Region Interim Political Arrangement" (draft) has been written with 12 chapters and will soon be adopted. NUG Deputy Minister of Human Rights Granted Leave from Duties
The NUG announced on March 7 that Khun Bedu Htan, one of the deputy ministers of the National Unity Government (NUG) Ministry of Human Rights, had been granted leave from his duties.
PSLF Declares Meeting in Kunming Unsuccessful Despite Three Discussion Points
On February 19, the Palaung State Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) announced that although three points, including a ceasefire, were requested and discussed during the meeting where both sides’ troops met, the discussions were difficult. As a result, it was concluded that the meeting would only end with an agreement to meet again under the leadership of Mr. Deng Xijun, the special envoy of the Chinese government.
Chinland Council Prioritizes Local Government Strengthening Principle
On February 2, the Chinland Council issued a statement declaring that the strengthening of regional governments, starting from the Chinland Government, will align with the federal union model, and the Chinland Government will work together to build a federal union in accordance with the guidelines of the national government.
