The Shan North Alliance Battalion announces that it will join the second wave of 10:27 as an alliance
On June 25, the Northern Shan State Alliance Army (NSSAA) announced that, as fighting has resumed in northern Shan between the Three Brotherhood Alliance and the terrorist junta in the second wave of Operation 1027, it will take part in military operations together with the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and its allied brothers.
Operation 1027 was launched on October 27, 2023, by the three Northern Alliance brothers: the Arakan Army (AA), the Kokang MNDAA and the TNLA. After they captured many towns, the Haigeng Agreement was signed between the three brothers and the terrorist junta through Chinese mediation and fighting paused, but it resumed more than five months later.

AA Responds That Drug Allegations Are Merely Political Attacks
On March 19, the United League of Arakan/Arakan Army (ULA/AA) responded that reports in the military's mouthpiece newspapers of March 18 and 19, claiming that AA economic officer Ye Win (a.k.a. Kyaw Soe Lin) and his wife Ma Thida Myint were involved in a drug seizure worth 96 billion kyat, have nothing to do with its organization and are merely a malicious political attack.
