UWSA released its opinion to find a solution through peaceful means including dialogue

UWSP

On July 29, the Central Committee of the United Wa State Party (UWSP) issued a statement saying that it wants to resolve the problems of reconstruction and resettlement of the people affected by the outbreak of conflict across Myanmar, including in the northern Shan State, through various peaceful means, including dialogue, and the statement was  published in both Chinese and English.

The UWSP warned that due to military conflicts, the country is in a state of collapse, there is a lack of hope in the lives of the people due to the economic collapse, production shutdowns, stoppage of trade, devastating damage to various industries, and the continuation of the conflict could lead to deeper divisions between ethnic groups, increased mutual hostility, and psychological damage that is more difficult to treat and lasts longer than the conflict itself.

It also urged all parties who were in conflict, on the one hand, they declare to represent the public, and on the other hand, not to turn a blind eye to the peace desired by the public, and not to focus on one aspect of their interests and ignore the interests of the people.
