Resistance Force
The Spring Revolution began as a peaceful protest against the military coup, but after the violent suppression of protesters, it shifted towards armed rebellion. The movement for self-defense rights, the right to protect oneself, and the right to defend one's own area with arms started in March 2021.
Termination of the collaboration between Federal Wings and NUG
The Federal Wings Drone Force announced on December 3 that as of October 6, 2024, collaboration with the Ministry of Communications, Information and Technology (MOCIT) under the National Unity Government (NUG) has been mutually suspended.
NUG-K2C Pledges Cooperation with ICC Regarding Military Regime Leader's Arrest Order
The NUG-K2C issued a joint statement on November 30 that it would accelerate all efforts of cooperation in applying for an arrest warrant at the International Criminal Court (ICC) against the terrorist military leader, General Min Aung Hlaing for crimes against the Rohingya.
Building United Forces in Dawei District for a Collective Revolution
It was announced on November 24 that the District Battalions 1 and 2, and the People’s Defense Team in four townships of Dawei District, Tanintharyi Region under the command of the Ministry of Defense of National Unity Government (NUG) had formed a United District Forces on October 28.
Pauk People's Defense Team Alerts to Potential "Significant Action" Over Interference in Controlled areas
It was announced on November 13, in the name of the person in charge of Paul Township People’s Defense Team, and stated that the separate armed groups which were not affiliated with the National Unity Government (NUG) had entered the villages controlled by the People’s Defense Team of the Park Township, Magway Region, so if there was interference in education, health, administration, and defense sectors, the serious action will be taken and will remove to reside in the township.

NUG takes action against PDFs and six Pa Ka Pha members within one month
The Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG) stated on November 14 that in October 2024, a member of the People's Defense Forces (PDF) and six members of the People’s Defense Teams were prosecuted and punished, while the subordinate forces were subjected to necessary controls to become a force that serves the people.

On November 10, at the fourth assembly attended by all Sagaing Forum Forces, it was announced that the Sagaing Forum Organizing Team had been renamed the Federations of Sagaing Forum.
What can we expect from the 3rd People’s Assembly?
The People’s Assembly is led by the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) under the Federal Democratic Charter, a constitutional document in the revolutionary period. The People's Assembly has been held twice during the revolution, and the first People's Assembly was held from January 27th to 29th 2022, and the second People's Assembly will be held for 5 days from April 4th to 9th, 2024. According to the agreement, the conference is to be held once every (6) months, but it was only after more than (2) years that the second People's Assembly was held. The Second People's People confirmed again that the conference will be held once every six months, so the Third People's Conference will likely be held soon.
Submit the Proposed Interim Structure of Sagaing to Parliament
The Sagaing Federal Unit Interim Constitution (Draft) Drafting Commission, which is made up of political forces in the Sagaing Region, has submitted the draft to the Regional Federal Unit Hluttaw, the parliament announced on October 25.
Magway Region Revolutionary Forces Seek to Strengthen Alliances
Magway Region Revolutionary Forces Network, a network of 11 revolutionary forces, announced on October 13 that it would continue to work with revolutionary forces in the region that are not yet part of the network.
NUCC and NUG Release Joint Statement Firmly Rejecting Pretense Discussion
The National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) and the National Unity Government (NUG) jointly issued a joint statement on October 1 that the terrorist military junta’s “Invitation to political problem solving through political means" was an attempt to divide the Ethnic Resistance Organizations (EROs) and People’s Defense Forces (PDF) and to gain a positive international image. The Third Kanpetlet Township Conference stated on September 3 that the Chin Defense Force (CDF - Kanpetlet) will be restructured with a Commander-in-Chief system to increase the revolution's momentum.
NUG Calls for Resistance Against Military's Human Shield Tactics
The National Unity Government (NUG) issued a statement on September 3 urging strong resistance and opposition through various means against the terrorist military group's efforts to use the entire country and its people as human shields. This includes their enactment of compulsory conscription law, formation of a central supervisory committee for public security and counter-terrorism, and forcibly recruiting elderly people up to 65 years old as soldiers.
YRF states about the assassination of the member of the central leading committee, and in charge of finance
On August 30, the Yadanarbon Revolutionary Force – YRF stated that allied revolutionary organizations should help each other to achieve truth and justice for Comrade Than Htike @ Nyi Nyi, who was a member of the Central Leading Committee and in charge of the Finance department of Yadanarbon Revolutionary Force – YRF, was inhumanely murdered on the night of August 27th.
Four townships add to Yangon Region's PDF Combat Force Unit (1)
On August 19, a statement was issued by the in charge of the force stating that some of the revolutionary comrades in the Khayan, Thongwa, Kyauktan, and Dagon Seikkan townships had been mobilized and formed the Yangon Region's PDF Combat Force Unit (1), which was organized by some townships in the southern district of Yangon Region.
New Rehmonnya Federated Force announces that it will establish Mon government
The New Rehmonnya Federated Force (NRFF) has announced through a statement commemorating the 77th anniversary of the Mon Revolution on August 19 that all the revolutionary forces fighting on behalf of the Mon country would cooperate in politics and military, move strategically, and establish a Mon government.
NUCC releases review on the current politics and military situation
On August 16, the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) stated the follow-up actions related to the 3 resolutions and 21 recommendations adopted by the Second People’s Assembly and reviewed the country's current political and military situation.
NUG-MoD states that Tagaung City has captured
On August 14, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of the National Unity Government (NUG) stated that the offensive to Tagaung City, in the Thabeikkyin Township, Pyin Oo Lwin District, Mandalay Region, led by No. (1) Military Divisional Command, Mandalay, began on the morning of August 11 and captured it by the night of August 12.
The chronicles of the fall of the North-Eastern Command
The Northeastern Regional Military Command was separated from the Eastern Regional Military Command established in Taunggyi in 1961 to more effectively handle the activities of the Communist Party of Burma in the country on July 27, 1972, and was established based in Lashio. In 1949, the Karen National Defence Organisation (KNDO) attacked and occupied the Northern Regional Military Headquarters based in Pyin Oo Lwin @ Mammy, and the "Northeastern Regional Military Command" has been recorded as the first regional military command to surrender for a terrorist military junta in 75 years.
Myingyan District Special Operation (MDSO) starts on August 10
The 9th Regiment of the Myingyan Black Tiger-MBT in Myingyan district stated that the battalion forces, the Local People's Defense Force (LPDF), and the People's Defense Force (PDF) cooperated and started the "Myingyan District Special Operation (MDSO)" on August 10 in Myingyan, Taungtha and Natogyi townships in Myingyan District, Mandalay Region.
Revolutionary forces occupied the Northeast Regional Command
According to the news media, the the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) has released a statement with photos confirming that the Northeast Regional Command of military regime in Lashio, Northen part of Shan State has been completely occupied by the afternoon of August 3rd.
