Magway Region Revolutionary Forces Network, a network of 11 revolutionary forces, announced on October 13 that it would continue to work with revolutionary forces in the region that are not yet part of the network.
On September 26, Yangon-based people strike groups announced that the terrorist military group's attempt to conduct a census under the pretext of holding an election was only an attempt to obtain the personal information of individuals, including urban revolutionary forces.

After the military coup by a terrorist military group on February 1, 2021, since the first week of February, anti-coup public strikes have taken place across the country in various forms. The announcement about People's Military Service Law was issued that the People's Military Service Law, enacted by Senior General Than Shwe, the Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council through Order No. 27/2010 on 4th November 2010, will come into forces on 10th February 2024, and it was issued with the signature of the Chairman of State Administration Council through Order No.27/2024.

Military junta intentionally bombarded Munglai Hkyet IDP Camp near Laiza in Kachin State at 11 pm on 9 October 2023. The indiscriminate attack killed 31 internally displaced persons (IDP) including 13 children and injured more than 20. Most of the deceased are women and girls in the attack that destroyed 50 shelters.

General Strike Committee of Nationalities (GSCN) celebrated the 84th Anniversary of U Ottama Day in memory of the revolutionary Buddhist monk in the country's independence struggle. He was renowned for his vocal role in independence struggle, urging Myanmar governor-then Sir Reginald Craddock to "Get Out" of the country. He died in prison on 9 September, 1939.
