General Strike Committee of Nationalities
The General Strike Committee of Nationalities (GSCN) was founded on February 11, 2021, by members of ethnic groups who accept the GSCN's basic principles, slogans and political goals, taking part either individually or as representatives of ethnic groups. With slogans such as uprooting dictatorship, abolishing the 2008 Constitution and freeing those unjustly detained, it has fought steadfastly by every means for the emergence of a federal democratic union.
In the political sphere the GSCN coordinates with political organizations, and in the strike sphere it has worked with other strike committees to carry out non-violent strikes using a variety of methods and forms.
Its basic principles are (1) the emergence of a federal democratic union, (2) practising collective leadership, (3) equality and justice, (4) mutual respect, and (5) self-determination.
The GSCN's four political goals are uprooting dictatorship, bringing about a federal constitution, the emergence of a new federal democratic state, and the liberation of all oppressed people.
Since 2021 it has carried out marching strikes, defensive strikes, guerrilla strikes and online campaigns. From 2022 to the present, it has been jointly organizing ground strikes in controlled areas, the movement to cut off blood money, movements against the military council's illegitimate election, online campaigns, marching strikes and media-based activities.
Comrades and young media workers in the GSCN founded Federal FM, holding to the GSCN's basic principles and political goals, and Federal FM now stands as a separate, independent media outlet.
The GSCN is a member organization of the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC).

Renamed GSCN to Generation's Solidarity Coalition of Nationalities - GSCN
After the second conference of the General Strike Committee of Nationalities – GSCNx was held with a total of 53 representatives and observers from 19 nationalities, it was announced that the name of the committee was changed to "Generation's Solidarity Coalition of Nationalities - GSCN".
The Vigorous of Spring Mass Movement
After the military coup by a terrorist military group on February 1, 2021, since the first week of February, anti-coup public strikes have taken place across the country in various forms. They opposed the military coup with non-violent movements such as Protesting, Cacerolazo, Red Ribbon Movement and the CDM movement. On February 22, 22 days after the military coup, the "22222" mass strike was held, and millions of people across the country protested against the military coup.
Responses to the military council's announcement that the military service law is in effect
The announcement about People's Military Service Law was issued that the People's Military Service Law, enacted by Senior General Than Shwe, the Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council through Order No. 27/2010 on 4th November 2010, will come into forces on 10th February 2024, and it was issued with the signature of the Chairman of State Administration Council through Order No.27/2024.

Reactions of revolutionary forces on junta's artillery attacks at Munglai Hkyet IDP camp
Military junta intentionally bombarded Munglai Hkyet IDP Camp near Laiza in Kachin State at 11 pm on 9 October 2023. The indiscriminate attack killed 31 internally displaced persons (IDP) including 13 children and injured more than 20. Most of the deceased are women and girls in the attack that destroyed 50 shelters.

84th Anniversary U Ottama Day
General Strike Committee of Nationalities (GSCN) celebrated the 84th Anniversary of U Ottama Day in memory of the revolutionary Buddhist monk in the country's independence struggle. He was renowned for his vocal role in independence struggle, urging Myanmar governor-then Sir Reginald Craddock to "Get Out" of the country. He died in prison on 9 September, 1939.
