On February 9, the Chin Defense Force – Mindat (CDF-Mindat) issued regulations for civilians returning to reside within Mindat town and for cargo vehicles passing through the town. The regulations include 12 points for civilians and 9 points for vehicles.
On January 3, C2N3 jointly issued a statement declaring that the release of political leaders, including Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, who have been arrested and detained, is crucial for resolving the current national issues.

The Zomi Federal Union/PDF Zoland announced on January 15 that the Chin Brotherhood (CB), the Interim Chin National Consultative Council (ICNCC) defense force, had already set up a process to develop the city, the capital of the Zomi people, into a liberated area, and would not hand over the city to any organization such as the SAC, Chin National Front (CNF/CNA), and PDA.
The Third Kanpetlet Township Conference stated on September 3 that the Chin Defense Force (CDF - Kanpetlet) will be restructured with a Commander-in-Chief system to increase the revolution's momentum.
Military junta intentionally bombarded Munglai Hkyet IDP Camp near Laiza in Kachin State at 11 pm on 9 October 2023. The indiscriminate attack killed 31 internally displaced persons (IDP) including 13 children and injured more than 20. Most of the deceased are women and girls in the attack that destroyed 50 shelters.
