YRF states about the assassination of the member of the central leading committee, and in charge of finance
On August 30, the Yadanarbon Revolutionary Force (YRF) issued a call for partner revolutionary organizations to help uncover the truth and achieve justice for the inhumane assassination on the night of August 27 of Comrade Than Htike (a.k.a. Nyi Nyi), a member of the YRF Central Leading Body and head of its Finance Department.
The statement said that assassinations of unarmed civilians and among revolutionary forces themselves are now occurring frequently in areas controlled by revolutionary forces, and that joint investigations into such counter-revolutionary acts by progressive revolutionary organizations, as well as joint administration and security work, remain weak.
In its position statement, the YRF Central Leading Body said these weaknesses must be tackled together, and that whoever committed the assassination of Comrade Than Htike (a.k.a. Nyi Nyi), the perpetrator will be punished according to their guilt.
