National Unity Consultative Council

National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) was formed on 8 March, 2021 with representatives from Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), Ethnic Resistance Organizations and other relevant stakeholders. NUCC was mentioned as deliberation platform while the Federal Democracy Charter was announced on 31 March, 2021 and the Interim National Unity Government (NUG) was announced on 16 April the same year.

NUCC's first press conference was held on 16 November, 2021, informing its composition and objectives.

NUCC convened First People's Assembly on 27-29 January, 2022, where the revised version of Federal Democracy Charter was approved. The assembly also reaffirmed the formation of International National Unity Government.

NUCC was formed with organizations from five categories. It formed nine Joint Coordination Committees for cooperation with NUG.
