National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) released Humanitarian Assistance Policy drafted by Joint Coordination Committee on Humanitarian Assistance and approved by the council on 21 August, 2023.

The policy was drafted with the aims to serve as guiding principle for organizations delivering humanitarian assistances to the people suffering from man-made and natural disasters and coordination for federal, federal unit and regional organizations for it.

It includes six policies, five values, 10 guiding principles and 11 duties which will be reviewed and revised as necessary. The values include humanism, non-discrimination, operational independence and impartiality.

NUCC announced it to be used it as guiding principles for delivery of humanitarian assistances in Myanmar in revolutionary (interim) period.
