The National Unity Consultative Council - NUCC approved the policy on Nonviolent Civil Disobedience Movement - CDM through the council's December 1st meeting.
The policy consists of (4) sections, section (1) is the impact of the policy and the objectives, section (2) is Non-violent Civil Disobedience Movement, Section (3) is Nonviolent Civil Disobedience Policy and Section (4) is the trasitional justice polices related to the nonviolent civil disobediemovement. The section (4) includes 5 chapters and in justice policy part, recognition, truth seeking, reparation, punishment and breaking the vicious cycle are broken down into policy briefs.
The policy stated that bringing the perpetrator to court/tribunal for alleged human rights violations, including deciding whether to prosecute those who committed the violations and anyone who was involved in the genocide/war crimes/crimes against humanity and the violation of human rights will be judged unconditionally before the law, there should be no amnesty for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes are included in the punishment chapter.
