GSCB Urges No Silence on Grave War Crimes and Genocide

GSCB

On January 8, the General Strike Coordination Body (GSCB) issued a position calling on governments and organizations to stop staying silent for their own interests about the grave war crimes and genocide being committed by the terrorist junta across the country, including in Sagaing and northern Shan, and not only to pressure and oppose them but also to work together to prosecute and punish the perpetrators through international mechanisms.

The GSCB said it is heartbreaking to see the terrorist junta continuously committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, such as aerial bombing and burning dozens of people to death at once, while ignoring the death toll without remorse. It also urged effective and meaningful support for the victims.
