Kachin State Civilian Movement
The Kachin State Civilian Movement (KSCM) Main Strike Committee was formed on February 8, 2021.
The KSCM Main Strike Committee's slogans are: "Military dictatorship must fall. Full democracy must be achieved. A federal democratic union based on the Panglong Agreement must emerge."
The KSCM states that the time has come to raise the momentum of the oppressed people's revolutionary struggle to the utmost in order to fight the fascist military to the end and uproot and crush the Myanmar fascist military, the common enemy not only of the oppressed people of Kachin State but of the whole union. To uproot the fascist military, it will systematically pursue measures including intensifying non-violent mass strikes of the oppressed, intensifying the civil disobedience movement, boycotting goods that support military and crony interests, pressuring countries that support the military to stop, and armed resistance.
The KSCM strongly opposes paths of negotiation and compromise with the fascist military that undermine the oppressed people's liberation struggle, paths that return to shelter under the 2008 constitution, and paths that do not guarantee national equality, democracy and self-determination based on the Panglong commitment, which is the dream of the Kachin people.
The KSCM will fight to the end for the dream of the Kachin people: the permanent fall of military dictatorship and all dictatorships, national equality, democracy, self-determination, and the liberation of the oppressed people.
The KSCM continues to take part in mass mobilization activities, activities marking the anniversary of the resumption of war in Kachin State, activities to prevent the election the military council plans to hold, and strike movements.

The Vigorous of Spring Mass Movement
After the military coup by a terrorist military group on February 1, 2021, since the first week of February, anti-coup public strikes have taken place across the country in various forms. Military junta intentionally bombarded Munglai Hkyet IDP Camp near Laiza in Kachin State at 11 pm on 9 October 2023. The indiscriminate attack killed 31 internally displaced persons (IDP) including 13 children and injured more than 20. Most of the deceased are women and girls in the attack that destroyed 50 shelters.
10-Day Against Junta
Kachin State Civilian Movement called a 10 days of people's movement against the military junta in commemoration of the 16th anniversary Saffron Sangha Movement from 17 to 26 September.
