Kachin State Civilian Movement called a 10 days of people's movement against the military junta in commemoration of the 16th anniversary Saffron Sangha Movement from 17 to 26 September. 

The campaign will include public talks on the movement and calls for boycotting the elections planned by the junta and promotion of federalism. It was also jointed promoted by Anti-Sham Election Committee of Strategic Initiative Forum (SIF)
