MFMPSLF

A violent military group carried out an aerial bombing attack on the Kyaukme Hospital on January 25, killing a CDM health worker, a civil servant, and one patient, totaling three fatalities, with over 20 others injured. The Medical Family Mandalay (MFM) issued a statement on January 25 condemning this act as an inhuman act of violence.

The bombing occurred in the afternoon when the violent military group carried out two airstrikes on the hospital using a jet fighter. Health services were being provided at the hospital after Kyaukme City was captured by the Palaung State Liberation Army/Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA). The PSLF/TNLA issued a statement on January 26 that the bombing of the hospital was a violation of international war crimes, human rights violations, and international prohibitions on protecting civilians during conflicts.
