Ensuring a Minimum 30% Female Leadership in the Formation of Federal Union
The Ta’ang Women’s Organization (TWO) announced that the conference has confirmed a directive to ensure that women’s leadership will make up at least 30% of the future federal union building efforts.
This directive was established following the 10th TWO conference and executive meeting held from January 27 to 31, with a total of 92 participants. The announcement was made on February 3, 2025, under reference number (01/2025). The conference also confirmed their commitment to working towards peace, gender equality, justice, ending the military dictatorship, equality among ethnic groups, and the right to self-determination. Furthermore, the organization welcomed the formation of the Ta'ang revolutionary government and encouraged the inclusion of women’s representation in all sectors.
