NUG release of opinion on China
The NUG Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced 1/2024 on January 1, 2024, stated that the National Unity Government (NUG) will adopt an independent, active and impartial foreign policy, continue to support China's one country policy, and build a true "relative-sibling" relationship.
The announcement also states that Myanmar will always maintain the socio-economic cooperation between the two countries and take over all the agreements signed between the two countries, including the border demarcation agreements between the two countries, before the 2021 military coup.

NUG declares non-recognition and dissolution of the military regime's Human Rights Commission
