NUG meets Lithuanian Foreign Minister
National Unity Government met Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis on 22 September. NUG discussed the connection between Myanmar crisis and regional development, crisis of democracy around the world and the role of democratic countries in tackling these challenges.
The meeting happened in the sideline of UN General Assembly in New York where the NUG delegates also held sideline meetings with US and Timor leaders.

NUG declares non-recognition and dissolution of the military regime's Human Rights Commission
The Myanmar National Human Rights Commission, established by the military junta, is not an independent, impartial, and respected body.
