In 2021, responding to the prevailing political circumstances, collaborated with partner organizations to initiate the reform process in Myanmar and to represent the interests of the Ta'ang people in leadership roles, Ta’ang Political Consultative Committee TPCC was established on March 25 2021.

TPCC is composed of the representatives from the Taang political parties, Hluttaw Representatives, Ta’ang social organizations, and Ta’ang political leaders. The goals of TPCC is to eradicate tyranny and free the Taang region's people from oppression, achieving ethnic equality and self-determination, the establishment of Ta’ang State, and the creation of a federal democratic union.

TPCC condemns the Military Council and any other armed groups responsible for violations against civilians and individuals who collaborate with the military council. The organization publishes statements expressing concerns and information about public health issues.

The Interim Ta'ang Region Administration Organization, founded under the guidance of the CRPH, functions as a sub-group of TPCC. Furthermore, TPCC drafted the state constitution based on the second version of the constitution developed by the Federal Constitution Drafting and Coordination Committee (FCDCC). Then, TPCC led the initiative for the State Constitution (Third Draft), by conducting consultative workshops on federal charter and the state constitution in Namkham Township, Muse Township, Mantong Township, Nam San Township, Namtu Township, Kyaukme Township, Namhpakka Township, and Kut Khaing Township.

On March 11-12, 2023, the Federal and Constitutional Seminar for Ta'ang State was organized and the draft of the Ta'ang State Constitution was approved in that meeting. (Note: The initial draft was approved during the 6th monthly meeting of the Central Committee of the Ta’ang Army (PSLF/TNLA) in 2015, while the second draft gained approval from TPCC in May 2021.) The Ta'ang State Constitution comprises 12 chapters. Matters, such as the national flag, anthem and the emblem, however, will only be finalized once the Ta’ang National Conference convenes.

စစ်အုပ်စုမှ ပြုလုပ်မည့် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲနှင့် နိုင်ငံရေး ပါတီမှတ်ပုံတင်ခြင်း ကိုလည်း ပြတ်ပြတ်သားသား ကန့်ကွက်ထားသည်။ အမျိုးသား ညီညွတ်ရေး အစိုးရတွင် ဖက်ဒရယ်ပြည်ထောင်စုရေးရာ ဝန်ကြီးဌာန၌ တအာင်းနိုင်ငံရေး အတိုင်ပင်ခံက ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး အနေဖြင့် ပါဝင်နေပါသည်။

TPCC holds membership within the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC).
