The Generation Z Army believes it is important, for the good of the country and the people, to resist and fight military dictatorship and all forms of dictatorship and to establish a new state in which all ethnic groups are equal. The dry-zone allied brotherhood declaration issued with the Burma National Revolution Army (BNRA) also states its alliance belief that, just as ethnic forces are striving, if the revolutionary groups fighting military dictatorship in the dry zone can unite, they will become a strong and powerful allied force able to fight and defeat the enemy effectively.
On September 1, 2024, the Generation Z Army declared itself dry-zone allied brothers with the BNRA, forming a joint force, and leaders of both sides also formed a Joint Command Council (JCC). The declaration contains 12 points setting out the rules and regulations that members of both forces must follow. Together with the BNRA, the Generation Z Army launched an operation to capture Pale on November 11, 2024, and on November 13 entered and captured the Pale Township General Administration Office and the town police station, temporarily controlling Pale. However, because of continuous air strikes by the Myanmar military, it had to withdraw from Pale on the evening of November 14.
The Generation Z Army also has close relations with Local PDFs in the region and the Chin Brotherhood, with messages exchanged between them. It also has relations with the Arakan Army and takes part in the AA's Operation 1027 military campaigns in Rakhine State. According to Myay Latt Athan, the Generation Z Army took part alongside the Arakan Army (AA) in the battle near Apaukwa village, Kyauktaw Township, Rakhine State, on February 7–8, 2024, in which two naval vessels and one landing craft were captured.
