Women's Forum for Peace was organized on 19-20 September to promote the role of women in the Spring Revolution and advocate for justice for sexual violence through international accountability mechanism.

The forum, organized by CEDAW Alliance, was attended by 230 women from different women's organizations in different areas. They discussed the exclusion of women from political and military sectors and proposed recommendations to National Unity Consultative Council, National Unity Government, revolutionary forces and international organizations.

CEDAW Alliance was made up of Women's League of Burma, Gender Equality Network, Women's Organizations Network and CEDAW Action Myanmar and other women's organizations. The CEDAW Convention aims at ending all forms of discrimination against women.
