On November 29, the Shan State Restoration Council (RCSS/SSA) and the Shan State Progressive Party (SSPP/SSA)  jointly announced that RCSS/SSA and SSPP/SSA were agreed to cesaefire according to the demand of the people of Shan State.

n a statement released in Shan language, the three representatives of the SSPP/SSA and the four representatives of the RCSS/SSA reached an agreement for a ceasefire after a meeting on November 29. In addition, the statement also issued that it was a joint announcement to let the Shan people, monks and military officials and soldiers know about the ceasefire process.
