Strike committees in Sagaing Region organized a meeting on 1 October except for a few groups that couldn't join due to communications difficulties.

The meeting focused on strengthening the movement and political and military challenges on the ground. The meeting formed Sagang Region Strikes Forces Working Committee and People Strikes Policy Drafting Committee.
