Karen Women's Organization organized ninth congress from 19 to 22 September in Moo (Mine) in Nyaunglaybin District in Kawthoolei, controlled by Karen National Union, with attendance of 52 women's leaders.

The congress elected nine executive committee members and reviewed the activities of past tow years and approved the activities for next two years. The congress was held biennially.
