Equality Myanmar released a report documenting the tortures committed by the military junta post-coup since 2021 on 18 September.

The report entitled "License to Torture" documented 200 cases of physical and sexual tortures against politicians, activists and public members including disabilities and LGBTIQ. It also includes tortures and deaths in interrogations.

The civil society organization provided recommendations to UN, ASEAN and National Unity Government.
