Interim Executive Council of Karenni released an appeal on humanitarian needs of the people in Karenni State. 

The council listed the urgent needs of food, shelter and sanitation for 250,000 IDPs.

IEC requested the Thai government, international humanitarian organizations and diaspora community around the world.
