12th ABSDF conference announces political stance and position

The 12th Congress of the All Burma Students' Democratic Front - ABSDF released five political objectives and six positions, which will be mainly based on armed struggle, but will also be combined with other forms of struggle.

The conference was held from November 1st to 17th, the political objectives are to end the participation of the military in politics and to organize and put it under a civilian government, to draft and enact a new federal and democratic constitution that can be accepted by all stakeholders.

At the conference, the central committee was restructured, and released the position of ABSDF mentioned that if the violence continues without accepting the political objectives set by the conference, they will not attend any discussion, and will not also accept changing the system in the form of a dictatorial civilian government and the division of power between the politically privileged.
